KABARBARU, PAMEKASAN– Batik KaDe held a cultural performance on its first anniversary with the theme “LOCAL WISDOM CHALLENGING GLOBAL”, following the description of the Owner of Batik KaDe Abdus Somad, who is familiarly called Ra Does or Sis Does
This special event will be held at New Kasmaran Cafe and Resto on Wednesday night, Thursday, December 22, 2021. This event invites Madura Talents and celebrities of Putri Cilik Indonesia 2020, Mester of East Java 2021, Putri Batik of Sampang Regency 2021 and several elements including Agency Management Madura, MUA Decoration, Madura Young Designers, Madura Talents and Celebrities, Photographers, Pamekasan Batik Craftsmen, Media Partners, Sponsorships, and Relationships.
The series of events will be exciting and lively. On performance, the best works of the KaDe Palace will also be displayed in the Fashion Show by celebrities and models from East Java.
“We have made several preparations to success this show, starting from the decoration settings, sound system and others. With the hope that this event will be successful, smooth and inspire the Talents and Millennials in Madura to always work, innovate real so that they become young entrepreneurs. Successful is ones that exist, because global competition is increasingly promoting their products to millennials today”, he added with a smile.
With some experience participating in several Batik events, Ra Does is optimistic that the event will be successful and considered bringing Pamekasan Talents and Millennials to follow in his footsteps by developing the Madura batik business, especially in Pamekasan Regency because Batik will never die.
With the Local Wisdom that we have in Madurese typical written Batik, whose quality is beyond doubt, we will compete in the Global Market. One way to compete with the global market, Istana KaDe in this Anniversary is also holding a Batik Making Competition. -Madura, from the results of this competition, three winners will be chosen, one of them from the winner of the Batik-Memorial competition will be crowned as the New Product of the KaDe Palace and will be given a name at that time. Well, this is what is meant by “Local Wisdom Challenging Global”.
Ra Does hopes in the future, the KaDe Palace will always be persistent in preserving the cultural heritage of our ancestors in the form of batik, as well as being able to compete with foreign products. And he hopes the KaDe Palace will also be able to change the Millennials’ Mindset always to love local products, especially hand-drawn batik.
